Frontline staff working long outdoor shifts need cooling that actually works in summer. The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department's Tai Po District Environmental Hygiene Office chose a custom waist-clip personal fan as summer equipment, worn at the waist so it runs without occupying either hand, which suits colleagues who work while on the move.
The fan head measures about 9.3 x 8.8 x 7.5cm and the unit weighs about 207g, made from ABS with electronic components and supplied from stock in a mix of black and white. A built-in battery of about 2400mAh charges over Type-C at 5V/1A with 5.5W output, taking roughly 2.5 hours to charge and running 2 to 4 hours across three speed settings, enough for a full outdoor shift. A single-colour logo can be printed in one position for clear departmental identification.
The waist-clip personal fan supports bulk ordering, with colour and printed content adjustable to departmental requirements.
